Peppol Commerce v2.0.25
With the latest release of Peppol Commerce v2.0.25, we’re taking another step forward in simplifying digital invoicing. This update brings improved e-invoice tracking, automatic VAT checks via the VIES web service, and several optimizations for an even smoother user experience.
What exactly has changed in this version?
Clearer monitoring of Peppol status
When e-invoices are created in Peppol Commerce, they still need to be processed on the Peppol network. To better track processing within the Peppol network, we’ve clarified this process in our plugin.
- Processing
The e-invoice has been sent to the Peppol network and is being processed. Peppol Commerce will check the status every 15 minutes until we receive confirmation. - Success
When the e-invoice was processed correctly on the Peppol network
- Error
When errors have occurred during processing on the Peppol network. Details of the error can be viewed in the activity log for the specific invoice.
VIES VAT number validation
The VAT field installed with our plugin, which is placed on the checkout page, now also automatically validates against the VIES web service so that VAT numbers are validated correctly.
Further optimization of PDF and UBL information
To accommodate as many e-commerce scenarios as possible, several optimizations have been made to the UBL document sent to Peppol and to the data that can be used on the PDF invoice.
